22/12/2011 I stayed for two nights in November at Diana's Bed and Breakfast and enjoyed my stay very much. The room was small, but comfortable. I enjoyed particularly the friendly atmosphere during the breakfasts. This B&B offers many of the benefits of home one usually misses while away.

"I had a wonderful stay at Woodfield and cannot recommend it enough! A good base for visiting Blenheim Palace and other nearby attractions. The room was very pretty and comfortable and with its restored wood furniture, it had lots of character as well. Maureen and David were very kind hosts who helped us find nearby walks to do, lent us maps and helped us with directions. The quality of the delicious full English breakfast with Maureen's lovely homemade jams was also of note! I would definitely stay here again if I visit again in this area."

Just wanted to say a big thank you for your excellent service, you really helped organise my last minute trip to Oxford, with great customer service and local knowledge.
I had a wonderful stay at Ridge House (3032) at the start of this month and loved being a guest there, I was most welcomed and it felt like a home from home. The room excelled the decription, which is always a plesant suprise when booking online. An honest website.
I would highly recommend using Abodes of Oxford, and further more a stay at Ridge House, much better than staying in a hotel. If I ever visit Oxford again for a break I would certainly use this service to book my accomadation (which would be at Ridge House again) :-)

17/06/2011 I was lucky to arrive by chance at Art Cottage during Art Weeks in Oxfordshire. My hostess, Barbara, is a practising artist and her cottage was a very stimulating place to be.
My room was lovely, overlooking the artist's garden studio and the house is warm, light and spotlessly clean, a great place for a lengthy stay. Barbara ensures that her guests feel very much at home and it was lovely to relax and share ideas at the end of the day. I shall remember her warmth, generosity and friendship and I certainly hope to stay again at Art Cottage on my next visit to Oxford.

Staying with Barbara in her charming house on Bartlemas Road was an absolute delight. She made me feel right at home, and I'd never before felt so comfortable and relaxed in any accommodation. She was helpful with my small extra needs, generous with the morning breakfast, and watchful after my particular interests. A leisurely bath, evening time on the telly, a fully-stocked bookcase in the bedroom, and an insightful and cheerful host--what more could I ask for? Thanks again!

Last week I stayed at Mrs S’s B&B at The Paddock in Kennington. I found this accommodation through your website, which I found very helpful, because I do not know the area. I was able to choose my accommodation with care, based on:
- location
- price
- use of an ensuite bathroom
- free WIFI access (as I have a lot of work to do using my laptop in the evenings)
- use of the kitchen (I’m usually too tired/shy to go out and find places to eat on my own in the evenings)
- female guests only (which was really just a bonus!)
My stay went very well. Mrs S was VERY kind, friendly and welcoming – yet I was never made to feel guilty when I stayed in my room working all evening. The accommodation was well appointed and always kept very clean and fresh. To accommodate my need to get away early each morning, Mrs S even kindly supplied me with the ingredients to have a quick/quiet breakfast in my bedroom.
As you can see, as a fairly private and very busy working person, I can thoroughly recommend this accommodation for friendliness, cleanliness and helpfulness.

14/02/2011 I just wanted to take a moment to tell you what a lovely time I had staying with Barbara at the Art Cottage in Cowley. She was so friendly and made me feel right at home. The room was lovely and so comfortable. It was so nice to have a 'home' to come back to after a day of adventuring through Oxford (and the location is very convienent, easy to find and just down the street from a cinema). I sincerely would not hesitate to visit Art Cottage again, and as my flatmate just said she's never been to Oxford ...well without a doubt I have told her where she must stay!! :)

High View Cosy Twin was good accommodation. Emma offered us a drink on arrival, and when one of us wanted to find an apple we had brought she instantly offered toast. She also offered us a drink before we left, even though we only stayed one night. She was careful to make sure we knew where the bus stop was, and how to get to our destination in Oxford. Thank you, Emma, for being friendly and hospitable and making our stay enjoyable..... And thanks for setting up Abodes of Oxford!
